So, I saw
Jurassic World. The designs of the dinosaurs were nicely done, and I really like the Indominus Rex's appearance, so I decided to make a plushie of her. My plan is to document every step of the process. Hopefully, this will provide some guidence for other plushie-makers on the design and creation process. It may also give viewers a realistic understanding of the time and effort required for making a custom plushie.
The first step of any process is research. To make the dinosaur, I need a very good idea of what she looks like. The Internet provides useful videos, fan work, and official images. However, I bought a little plastic toy Indominus Rex. I think this will make a good base for the plushie's design.
She is going to be fun to make.
Research: Approximately 30 minutes.
Overall time on project: 30 minutes.
